Welcome to The Herman App. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Herman’s Monster House platform, including all applications, content, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Platform is intended for use by educators, schools, parents, guardians, and children under appropriate supervision. If you are an educator or institution, you represent that you have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of your organization. If you are a parent or guardian, you consent to your child’s use of the Platform. If you are under the age of majority, you may only use the Platform with the involvement and consent of a parent, guardian, or educator.

Herman’s Monster House is designed as an educational support tool aligned with literacy development principles. The Platform is intended to supplement, but not replace, formal instruction and should not be relied upon as a sole basis for educational, psychological, or academic decision-making. While we strive to provide high-quality and engaging learning experiences, we do not guarantee specific learning outcomes.

All content available on the Platform, including but not limited to books, characters, illustrations, story worlds, software, design elements, artificial intelligence systems, and branding, is the property of Herman’s Monster House Inc. or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal or educational purposes only.

Artificial Intelligence: The Platform includes features powered by artificial intelligence. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that AI-generated responses are automated, may not always be accurate or complete, may vary between users and sessions, and are intended to support engagement rather than provide authoritative instruction.

Privacy: Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting user data in accordance with applicable laws, including PIPEDA, and we design our systems with consideration for international standards such as COPPA and GDPR where applicable.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of New Brunswick and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
